Grati Family
The Grati family has been growing vines and olive trees and has been producing wine and olive oil in Rufina for six generations. The tradition continues, however, as they no longer travel to Florence on carts pulled by majestic white oxen to deliver their wines; today, their products reach the four corners of the world, without forgetting their hometown, Florence.

Appreciated for centuries
That special stretch of land that is Rufina has to be sought with the soul. In 1716 the grand duke of Tuscany, Cosimo III de Medici, defined its borders, and they have remained in essence to this day. He already knew that “such a durable, full-bodied and aristocratic wine can only be achieved on the expansive hills of Rufina” and recommended having a taste. We would do well to follow the duke’s orders.
